Creating great custom single storey home designs all starts with you. We take the time to find out what your individual requirements are for your family, lifestyle and building budget. Then create a home design that works and fits your lifestyle like a glove.
Below are a few examples of work we’ve created for past clients.
Guildford
This corner block required some extra attention to ensure the home stayed in keeping with the Guildford and Midland heritage home styles. The end result is this lovely colonial home design which fits right in with the existing homes. Our designers did an exceptional job creating that wonderful Australian feel but adding modern touches to the floor plan. Featuring 7 roof gables and scalloped timber beams to the bullnosed verandah – this half rendered, half face brick design is simply stunning.
It was particularly important for the owners to have their wishlist incorporated into the design, and they’re over the moon with the end result.
The 4 bedroom x 2 bathroom design of this floor plan would suit most family homes. Take note of the 36c high ceilings to the minor bedrooms and front Entry – Amazing. When walking into the heart of the home the ceiling line shoots upwards as the raking ceiling over the Living and Dining rooms feature as the centrepiece, and leads you out to the Alfresco area. There’s also a spacious kitchen and Scullery. The master bedroom has plenty of privacy at the rear of the home with a his and hers dressing area and large ensuite.
Margaret River
We’ve fallen in love with this energy efficient design currently being built in Margaret River. This design features low roof lines with its flat roof style, and a mixture of brickwork and cladding to the exterior. The soft colour tones fit in nicely with the surrounding bushland. What’s great is the outside is complimenting the inside of this design. There is a fireplace in the main living area which has a feature stone wall and the floor will also be stone tiles.
To be sure the home is comfortable all year round, the owners have also included under floor heating. A clever feature for those cool Margaret River nights.
The owners needed a home that could be used as their holiday home as well as a bed and breakfast until they ultimately retire and resettle in Margaret River. It’s a wonderful open plan design with great living spaces and a wonderful decking area where you can soak in the sun all year round.

Wanneroo
This new home design in Wanneroo is situated on a huge 4000m² block. Because the owner had the space, the design itself is large and features oversized rooms throughout the home. The front elevation leans more towards a colonial look, with some modern elements. There’s a bullnosed verandah and feature gable with stone work below the bay window. The light coloured render contrasts the dark roof but is softened by the natural cedar garage door and gable lining.
The home features four bedrooms, with the master suite being separate to the minor bedroom wing (a popular request these days) and has its own courtyard. A home office which is accessible from the front verandah, maintaining privacy when work appointments are necessary. The front home theatre also acts as a parents retreat. The large open plan living fills the middle of the home and flows nicely between the Living and Alfresco.
